The general admission consists of two main parts: a first part focused on the history and context of the Castillo de San Marcos building with a duration of approximately 45 minutes; and a second part, also lasting 45 minutes, which will shift the focus to the culture present today in Puerto de Santa María: Sherry wines. Taking as a starting point the winery attached to the Castle that allows us to know El Puerto de Santa María in all its fullness: historical and cultural aspect.
With the basic ticket you can enjoy a guided tour of the Castle of San Marcos led by an expert guide in the history of the castle who will accompany the visitor on a journey through the history of the Portuense monument and its influence on the rest of the city. population: from Puerto Menestheo to Santa María del Puerto, passing through the Islamic Alcanatif.
